Dubbed 'Raincity,' Vancouver is known for rain and it's beautiful scenery. As summer encroaches, Vancouverites and visitors must take advantage of the constant sunshine and clear skies and partake in festival season.

It’s time for festival-goers to mark their calendars, book their weekends, and RSVP for a list of events happening this festival season. Not only do they need to decide which festivals to go to, but whether they're going to one day or two!

On July 5-6, the biggest names in the music industry bring the heat to this two-day summer festival. This year's lineup is headlined by five-time Grammy-nominated pop artist Khalid and Billboard and Grammy award-winning electronic DJ, Zedd.

Additional performers include Tory Lanez, French Montana, Louis the Child, RL Grime, 6lack, Lil Yachty, A Boogie Witda Hoodie, Kayzo, Lauv, Green Velvet, Lil Mosey, Ekali, Joyryde, Shoreline Mafia, Elohim, Saint Jhn, Yung Gravy, Cedric Gervais, Elephante, Gashi, Felix Cartal, SayMyName, and others.

Single-day passes, two-day passes and VIP 19+ passes are on sale for immediate purchase or through a payment plan. Festival-goers can purchase food and beverages on-site with an outdoor bar available for those with 19+ wristbands. The much-anticipated festival is produced by Blueprint and Livenation Canada. Last year's attendance was a record-high with over 40,000 attendees.

Save yourself a long commute and stay right in the heart of Surrey at the Comfort Inn & Suites Surrey, so you can be the first one on the grounds and the last one out. Unlike any other hotel in the area, the Comfort Inn & Suites was built in 2008 and offers modern rooms and the latest amenities. Treat yourself to a luxurious festival experience at an affordable price and book your stay today.
