Halloween is just around the corner! As always, there are so many awesome Halloween events and activities to check out in Surrey. Go with friends or bring the whole family along for some spook-tacular fun next month! Costumes are always encouraged.

Haunted Farm at the Historic Stewart Farm | October 26

Give the kids a Halloween experience they won’t forget — without worrying about nightmares! Historic Stewart Farm’s “Haunted Farm” event on October 26th is a family-friendly event that makes Halloween more fun than frightening. You can do special Halloween crafts and try spooky-themed treats. Get your fortune read while sipping on hot chocolate, visit the fortune teller for a mystical palm reading, and participate in a scavenger hunt for rats, bats, and eyeballs throughout the classic heritage house. Those who complete the scavenger hunt will be rewarded with candy! You can also play games like Monster Charades, Flies in the Web, and Shoe Toss Fortune, and then head to the barn for some autumn-themed family photos. There are so many activities to do at the Haunted Farm that all ages will love. Best of all, this event is totally free to attend!

Halloween Paint Nite at the Clayton Public House | October 29

Take a classic pub night to the next level with Clayton Public House’s Halloween House Paint Nite! Unleash your inner artist (and monster) by painting a spooky Halloween-themed picture over cocktails, beers, or some wine. Drinks and food are available for purchase at the event, and Paint Nite provides all the materials you need to create your masterpiece. Of course, you get to take your creation home at the end of the night! Tickets are $40 and seating is first-come-first-served, so be sure to arrive early if you’re painting with a group!

Potter’s House of Horrors | September 27 - November 2

Every Halloween, Potter’s Farm & Nursery in Surrey transforms into a land of terror, full of creepy characters, wicked special effects, and terrifying good times. Instead of just a regular haunted house, Potter’s House of Horrors bills itself as a “live theatre attraction,” complete with trained actors and state-of-the-art props and effects to create a truly terrorizing experience. This year’s House of Horrors includes the “Death Valley Motor Inn”, a creepy abandoned desert motel with shadowy figures lurking in the halls, and the “Devil’s Descend Haunted House”, a maze of rotted wood, precarious mineshafts, and hungry zombies. For the little ones, there’s the ‘Lil Haunters area, a kids-only zone with two mini haunted houses that are more fun than scary (no actors or animatronics). Also be sure to check out the burning building escape room, carnival games, and Halloween-themed concession stand with all its tasty treats!

Whether you’re looking for a terrifying scare, a chill night with wine and friends, or a fun event to make family memories, Surrey has everything you need this Halloween! Comfort Inn Surrey has a great selection of rooms to accommodate couples, groups of friends, or families with kids at affordable prices. Our cozy beds will ensure you get a good night’s sleep after a full day (or night!) of laughing and screaming at these awesome Halloween events.
