Christmas Train
What’s Christmas without a ride on a holiday train? Head over to Bear Creek Park for this festive ride thorough the Christmas forest. After you hop off, Santa Claus will be around for photographs. If you’ve been good, he might even give you a candy cane! The Christmas Train runs until January 4.
Puss In Boots
Surrey’s very own The Royal Canadian Theatre Company is putting on a very special panto presentation of Puss In Boots. This festive version of the French fairy tale about a boy and his cat comes to life with spectacular costumes, magical music, and eye-catching special effects. Throw in a dame and a fairy queen, and you have all the making of a sweet holiday treat. Puss In Boots runs until December 27 on Main Stage at the Surrey Arts Centre. Tickets are available online
Lavish Gala
Don’t have any plans for New Year’s yet? Make sure you get your tickets to the Lavish Gala! Guests of the Lavish Gala will ride in a limousine and then walk the red carpet to Royal King Palace, where they will get to enjoy complimentary champagne and live performances by artists and acrobats. Described as more than a party but an eight hour extravaganza of “opulence, entertainment, and excitement,” this is not one to miss. Tickets are available online.
